Three players Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could sign in the January transfer window

Jurgen Klopp is in the market for new players.

The Premier League season is at the halfway stage but already Liverpool find themselves 13 points clear at the top with a game in hand.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have won 18 of their 19 matches, drawing the other, in a record breaking first half to the campaign.

Despite flying high, the Reds have already added to their squad for the second part of the season by signing Japan international winger Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg.

But who else could Liverpool possibly move for in the new year? We take a look at three players the Anfield club have been linked with in the last seven days…

Victor Osimhen

Lille striker Victor Osimhen has been in prolific form in France this term, netting 13 goals in 24 appearances.

The Nigeria international only arrived at the club from Belgian outfit Charleroi in the summer, making his form even more impressive.

However, the Sunday Express report that Liverpool will test Lille’s resolve as they step up their pursuit of the 20-year-old.

It’s claimed though that the Ligue 1 outfit will try to keep hold of their star who still has four-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.

Jarrad Branthwaite

Liverpool showed that they have one eye on the future during the summer when they signed teenagers Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott.

Now – according to the Mail Online – the Reds are interested in another young talent in Carlisle United’s Jarrad Branthwaite.

The 17-year-old, who is a left-sided centre-back, has played 14 times first-team matches in all competitions this term.

It’s claimed that Liverpool have been monitoring his progress but that Chelsea are also keeping watch.

Jadon Sancho

The Borussia Dortmund superstar has been constantly linked with a move back to England.

Now ESPN report that Liverpool are interested in bringing the England international to Anfield.

It’s claimed that a move in January is unlikely but an agreement for a summer transfer could be made.

Sancho, 19, has scored 14 goals for club and country this season, including eight in his last eight for the German club.
