Three players Liverpool could sell this summer

With the summer transfer window now in full swing, there will be plenty of ins and outs at all 20 Premier League clubs.

Despite winning the title, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been linked with moves for players as he looks to keep the Reds at the top next term.

However, with names connected with a possible move to Anfield, it seems that the champions would be aiming to move players on before making any major moves.

The likes of Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana have already departed Merseyside but they certainly may not be the last.

With that in mind, we name three players we believe could also leave Liverpool this summer.

Xherdan Shaqiri

Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri arrived from Stoke City in the summer of 2018 for a fee of just £13million.

However, the playmaker has really struggled to establish himself in Klopp’s team and has made just 18 starts in two seasons with the German boss opting for others ahead of him.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Reds fans may not see much more of the 28-year-old with Lazio strong contenders to sign the attacking midfielder.

Marko Grujic

Now a player fans may have forgotten about in the shape of midfielder Marko Grujic, who has spent the las two-and-a-half seasons out on loan.

The Serbia international, who was Klopp’s first Liverpool signing in January 2016, has had spells with Cardiff City and two years in the Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin.

Now 24 and with just 14 Liverpool appearances under his belt, Goal report that Hertha, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and a host of clubs across Europe are interested in ending his four-and-a-half year association with the Reds.

Harry Wilson

Now to another midfielder who’s been getting his first-team football out on loan – Harry Wilson.

After impressing at Championship side Derby County in the 2018/19 season, the Wales international joined Bournemouth for the 2019/20 Premier League campaign.

The Wrexham-born player scored seven goals in 35 matches for Eddie Howe’s Cherries in all competitions but couldn’t save the club from relegation.

According to The Sun, Wilson could also be sold off by Klopp with top-flight duo Aston Villa and Leeds United reportedly battling it out for his signature.
