Despite their dominance, the Merseyside club will know it’s important to keep on trying to strengthen year on year.

But who could Liverpool possibly add to their all conquering squad this summer?

We take a look at three players the Anfield club have been linked with in the last seven days…

Carlos Vinicius

According to AS, the Reds have been keeping a close eye on Benfica star Carlos Vinicius.

The 24-year-old has scored 15 goals in what is his first season with the Portuguese club since signing from Napoli in the summer.

It’s claimed that Liverpool are monitoring the Brazilian as a possible replacement in case Roberto Firmino leaves Anfield.

However, with a valuation of around £50million, signing Vinicius would not come to cheap.

Marcelo Brozovic

According to TransferMarketWeb, Liverpool are very much tracking Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The Croatia international has been a key player in helping to put Inter right in Serie A title contention this season, registering five assists in 21 matches.

And it’s thought that the 27-year-old’s form has caught the attention of the Reds and Real Madrid, who are claimed to both be eyeing a summer swoop.

Brozovic, who moved to the San Siro from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015, has a deal with Inter until 2022.

Timo Werner

Italian journalist Nicolo Schira claims that Liverpool are in advanced talks with RB Leipzig over a deal for star striker Timo Werner.

The Reds have been linked with a swoop for the Germany international throughout this season.

And now it’s claimed the runaway Premier League leaders are closing in on a £48million transfer for the 23-year-old.

Werner has scored 25 times and registered 10 assists in 30 appearances in all competitions this term.
