Tigers take in ex-Newcastle man

Hull City are considering offering Ryan Taylor a deal at the club.

The former Newcastle United midfielder is reportedly training with the Championship club following his release from the Magpies earlier this summer.

The 30-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 106 appearances for Newcastle during his six-year stay, has already held talks with fellow Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers and Belgian outfit Standard Liege.

However Tigers boss Steve Bruce, who is set for crunch talks with owner Assem Allam over the weekend at the KC Stadium, has invited Taylor to train with his squad during pre-season in the hope of earning a contract.
