4. Ricardo Carvalho (Portugal)

Carvalho has won it all at club level

Remember him? Yes, he is still playing at the grand age of 37. Carvalho is not an irregular face at the European Championship and has won pretty much all there is to win at club level: the Champions League, the Premier League and La Liga to name a few, but to be still holding a starting position at this stage of his career is some going. The ex-Chelsea star played six times during qualification and even scored a goal, but with the pace of strikers likely to be on show throughout the tournament it remains to be seen how much of the former Blue we will actually see on the field.
