Top 10: Ex-Premier League players you won’t believe could be at Euro 2016

8. Jose Bosingwa (Portugal)

Bosingwa is a controversial figure

Now who could forget that eyebrow. The right-back was signed by Chelsea after he won basically all he could win whilst with Porto, and did the same at Stamford Bridge. However, Bosingwa kind of lost the plot and controversy always seemed to follow him. He was banned for three European games whilst at Chelsea and then he was part of the infamous QPR meltdown season where he was fined three weeks’ wages for refusing to sit on the bench before he was then caught smiling on TV when the R’s were relegated. Needless to say he didn’t last very long there. Bosingwa also caused controversy on the international stage when he retired from international football in 2011 until Paul Bento was removed from his job. The 33-year-old eventually returned to in November last year and it is more than likely we will see him feature during the Euros, surrounded by controversy or not.
