Top 10: Premier League 2015/16 performers so far

When the 2015/16 season started, everyone was thinking the same thing – Chelsea and City, Hazard and Aguero, here we go again.

But those two world-clas players have failed to shine in the first seven matches, meaning supporters have had to look elsewhere for top performances.

And the rest the top flight has to offer haven’t disappointed, with a host of new and familiar faces making fast starts to the campaign.

With just one match until the next international break, we’ve decided to look at 10 of the best performers in the league to date.

10. Romelu Lukaku (Everton)

After a disappointing last season, there was a lot on Romelu Lukaku’s shoulders after he openly came out and said he deserves to be playing for a “top club”. But he’s already started off this campaign looking better than the last, having scored four goals in seven games for the Blues. Yes, he’s only scored in two of the matches but his overall game and sheer presence has also helped his side to three wins, three draws and just one defeat so far.
