The wait is almost over!

Football Manager fans around the country will be waiting with anticipation as the release of one of the greatest football games is under two weeks away.

Nevertheless, there will be a number of fans up and down the country who have already thought about how they are going to take their team to glory on the new game, which includes many new and exciting features.

Whether it means breaking your club’s transfer record, dispensing of a number of first team players, or promoting the youth starlets, there’s a lot for the millions of football fans around Britain to think about over the next few weeks.

However, there will also be many who like the look of a challenge in a bid to prove themselves as a top-quality manager.

And, for Arsenal fans that have seen their side go 12 years without a Premier League title, many will believe that they know better than Arsene Wenger on how to take the Gunners from features near the top of the division to European heavyweights.

Thus, here are THREE challenges Arsenal fans should take up with their side on the new game…

Fourth, third, second – that’s Arsenal’s last three Premier League finishes, so it’s up to you to continue that progression.

The Gunners have waited 12 years since their last top-flight title, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, and of course Leicester City finishing at the summit ahead of Wenger’s side.

However, the signs are there that this could be Arsenal’s season, and your job is to fulfil that potential and win the Premier League in your first season in charge at the Emirates. That’s an easy one though, keep going for a real challenge…

Be a better Wenger

20 years at Arsenal and bringing a decent amount of success to North London – Wenger has done a terrific job for both the club and indeed English football.

However, some feel that Wenger could and perhaps should have achieved more in his two decade spell at Arsenal.

And now it’s your turn to do just that as you look to match Wenger’s 20-year stint in charge.

Wenger’s main success is continuously delivering Champions League football every season, and you’ve got to do this and a lot more throughout your 20-year tenure in North London.

Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph in 2014 was their first piece of silverware in nine years, which is far too long to wait for a side consistently near the top of the league.

But you, alongside qualifying for the Champions League every year, must win at least one domestic trophy every season.

It is all well and good getting into the Champions League every year, but it’s about time that Arsenal started making headway in the competition.

The Gunners have reached just one final in Wenger’s 20 years at the club, and lost in the round of 16 for the past six seasons.

That’s not going to happen with you in charge.

You are going to make at least the semi-finals of the Champions League for four consecutive years and, in at least one of those campaigns, you are going to go on and win it.
