2. Manchester United
Following several years of disappointment and the sackings of David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, there is a sense of optimism associated with club once again with everyone wondering just what Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United can achieve.
The Portuguese manager has acted fast in the transfer market, having already signed defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan and former Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic – not to mention that he may still also add world-class French midfielder Paul Pogba as an addition to his squad come the opening weekend.
These signings undoubtedly show the ex-Real Madrid and Chelsea boss’ intent on claiming the title and, with his previous form in the Premier League, Mourinho may just be the person to bring glory back to the red side of Manchester.
