Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal – February 2014
The Gunners strolled into Anfield atop the table, but would find themselves properly decimated by the home team. In just 20 minutes, Arsenal had conceded four goals, courtesy of a Martin Skrtel brace along with strikes from Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge.
Sterling would add to his tally in the second half, while a spot kick from Mikel Arteta gave Arsenal a wee bit of consolation. Arsene Wenger and his men would end up with a usual fourth placed finish, and Liverpool would miss out on the title after a 2-0 loss to Chelsea helped Manchester City steal the crown.
