2. Crystal Palace v Shrewsbury

Expect goals from this one, with the likes of Dwight Gayle set to start for The Eagles at Selhurst Park this evening, and the Shrews having found the back of the net in 12 of their last 13 League Cup matches. Micky Mellon’s came away with a 2-1 victory over Championship Blackburn in the last round, and are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with Palace. They saw off Leicester, Blackpool and Norwich in their run to the fourth round of the competition last year, and will be hopeful they can at least make it to round three once again.
