With the qualifying games for Euro 2016 complete and the 24 nations taking part confirmed, supporters can excitedly start looking forward to the tournament next summer.

Some of the usual suspects are looking strong again, with both world champions Germany and current holders of this competition, Spain, finishing top of their groups, while England, Italy and Belgium will all be in attendance.

But who might spring a surprise next summer? Which of the smaller footballing nations could be the dark horses in France?

5) Czech Republic

Czech Republic beat Netherlands twice in qualification.

The Czech’s certainly wouldn’t have been the favourites to win Group A in Euro 2016 qualification after being drawn against the likes of Netherlands and Turkey, however that is exactly what they did.

Pavel Vrba’s side got off to the best possible start by beating the Dutch 2-1, before winning their next three matches, including a 2-0 success away in Turkey.

They finished the campaign with a 3-2 win in Amsterdam against a Netherlands side who needed a win to keep their chances of qualification alive, showing they are a team with no fear.

With Petr Cech in goal and an experienced defence in front of the Arsenal stopper, the Pot 3 outfit will certainly provide a threat to some of the bigger nations next summer.
