It’s that time of year for managers in the Fantasy Premier League – when you are able to use your second “wildcard” of the season.

The wildcard option allows you to make as many changes as you want to make to your squad, without losing any points from your total.

A number of players that started the season well have lost form in recent week, while the opposite scenario has also been noticeable in other individuals.

Here at Shoot, we thought we’d come up with five players that you should be looking to put into your team if you are going to use your wildcard this week.

5) Charlie Daniels (Bournemouth)

No individual defender, or defence as a whole has really stood out in the Premier League so far this season, so looking away from the top clubs, one player that has really impressed us in recent weeks is Bournemouth’s Charlie Daniels.

Not only has the Cherries left-back helped his team keep three clean sheets in their last five matches, but he also scored from the penalty spot against West Brom and Norwich, as well as setting up Benik Afobe for his first Bournemouth goal against the latter last weekend.

Currently valued at just £4.6m, and as Eddie Howe’s side’s corner, free-kick and penalty taker, Daniels looks sure to add to his impressive 25-point haul from the previous three fixtures.
