4. Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)

When he first joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim in the summer, Roberto Firmino struggled to adapt to the playing style of the Premier League. Since the mid-season arrival of Jurgen Klopp, the Brazilian’s performances have soared.

Six goals and six assists have helped the Reds to an important league win over Manchester City and a dramatic draw against Arsenal. Whilst it has not been a breathtaking start to Firmino’s English top-flight career, signs since the turn of the year – especially the fact that Klopp is more willing to field him as a striker over Belgian frontman Christian Benteke – have suggested that Firmino could enjoy a long spell as one of the Premier League’s leading playmakers.
