3. Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace)
The DR Congo international proved to be the catalyst, once again, for Crystal Palace as they edged out Southampton 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Attacking down the right wing, his pace and skill was too much for the Saints, as his low cross found Yohan Cabaye to convert the only goal of the game.
Bolasie’s pace stretched both full-backs all afternoon, as he popped up on both flanks and was influential in everything that was good about his side’s performance.
Surprisingly, it was the 26-year-old’s first assist of the season, but, as Eagles fans will tell you, it’s his all round game that has made him a firm fan favourite.
Palace’s lofty sixth position in the league is largely due to his partnership with Wilfried Zaha, as their interchangeability and pace allows Alan Pardew’s side to attack with purpose from both sides of the pitch.
