4. Harry Arter (Bournemouth)

The Republic of Ireland international epitomized Bournemouth’s work ethic and desire as they pulled off their second shock in as many games by beating Manchester United 2-1 at home.

On the back of their away victory at Chelsea, the Cherries were full of energy, as Arter seemed to cover every blade of grass, putting in many good tackles, including a great block to deny Marouane Fellaini in the second half.

Arter also showed a great range of passing, starting many of his side’s attacks as he didn’t let experienced internationals Fellaini and Michael Carrick faze him in any way.

He was rightly greeted with a standing ovation by the Bournemouth faithful when he was replaced late on.

But, what we didn’t know at the time was that Arter was mourning the loss of his daughter, who tragically died at birth during the week, making his fantastic performance all that more remarkable.
