On his return from injury, the Belgium international scored a superb goal as Manuel Pellegrini’s side ran out 4-0 winners at AFC Bournemouth.
An excellent City move involving Sergio Aguero and David Silva was finished off by De Bruyne from the edge of the area for their second goal of the game.
Further goals from Aguero and Aleksandar Kolarov secured the win for the Citizens as they look ahead to their Champions League tie against PSG this week.
