1. Robert Huth (Leicester City)
The 31-year-old, who has played his whole career in England, is enjoying his best season to date as he score twice at the Etihad Stadium in Leicester’s 3-1 win against Manchester City.
The big German opened the scoring in the third minute as he bundled home Riyad Mahrez’s right-sided after beating Martin Demichelis to the ball.
The 6ft 3in centre-back then settled the game on the hour mark as he expertly headed Christian Fuchs’ corner back across goal and into the top corner to make it 3-0.
Despite the goals, it was his excellent defensive performance which also impressed, but was sadly blemished when Sergio Aguero rose in-between him and the impressive Wes Morgan to grab a consolation for the Citizens.
