Despite recently turning 35-years-old, veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is showing no signs of slowing down as he stars for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United this season.

The former Sweden international, who arrived at Old Trafford on a free transfer earlier this summer, has already scored six goals in 11 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions so far this term.

Having also previously played for the likes of Ajax, Barcelona, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Paris-Saint Germain, it is fair to say the Swede’s illustrious career has been littered with silverware and success.

But alongside his world-class goalscoring exploits, Ibrahimovic has also been renowned for his trademark quotes.

For example; a reporter once asked Ibrahimovic, “Who will win the World Cup play-off?”

He said, “Only God knows.”

The reporter replied, “It’s kind of hard to ask him…”

Then Ibrahimovic shut down the interview with, “Why? You’re looking at him now.”

So, to honour the towering striker ahead of Monday night’s Red Monday clash between rivals Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield, SHOOT have picked out his five of his best quotes down the years.

Enjoy!
