4. James Milner (from Manchester City – free)
Another summer signing, Milner is already showing signs that he is a top capture for the Reds. He’s been arguably one of Liverpool’s best players so far this term, popping up with a goal and two assists. His passing is fantastic, his work rate second to none and his versatility incredibly useful. For absolutely nothing, he is proving to be the steal many though he would be.
