The Scot has been heavily linked with the Blackburn Rovers job in the last 48 hours, at a level where he has proven himself before.
His success in bringing Norwich from League One to the Premier League may have a big say for Championship clubs, and Rovers could undoubtedly use someone of his calibre to try and bring them back to the top.
