Top 5: Who are the highest paid managers in the Premier League?

Rodgers led Leicester to FA Cup success last term.

We all like to talk about footballer’s wages and the eye-popping amount of money those at the top of the game earn.

But what about managers?

Have you ever wondered how much the top bosses in this country are being paid?

Well we’ve decided to reveal the five highest-paid gaffers in the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The Manchester United boss is still a relative novice when it comes to managing at the very top level.

But despite that, the Norwegian has a contract at Old Trafford which, according to the Mirror, sees him paid £7.5million per year.

Jurgen Klopp

You might be surprised to know that the man who’s managing the current European champions and runaway Premier League leaders is only fourth on the list.

However, earning a reported (Business Insider) £7.5million per year, Jurgen Klopp is certainly not short of a few quid.

Brendan Rodgers

The Northern Irishman has done a brilliant job at Leicester City to date, putting them in a strong position to regain their place in next year’s Champions League.

And following reported interest from Arsenal, the Foxes were quick to tie down Rodgers to a new long-term deal worth – according to The Sun –  the region of £10million per year.

Jose Mourinho

The newest manager on the list when it comes to time spent at a club is Tottenham’s Jose Mourinho.

Despite a questionable few years, the Portuguese’s brilliant track-record is earning him, according to The Sun, £15million per year at Spurs.

Pep Guardiola

It’s probably no real surprise to see the two-time Premier League winning manager top the list.

The Catalan boss is earning  – as reported by the Mirror – a whopping £20million per year but with the football on show at the Etihad you can’t really say he doesn’t deserve it.
