Uruguayan striker Agustin Davila is open to a Liverpool move having been on trail with the club for a fortnight, according to International Business Times.

The 17-year-old has bagged over 100 goals at youth level for his current side Atletico Penarol, and was top scorer at U13’s, U14’s and U15’s level before a injury stopped him from topping the charts for a fourth consecutive season.

According to IBT, scouts from the Merseyside club have been keeping tabs on the youngster for the past two years and he was in attendance as Jurgen Klopp’s side laboured to a bore draw with North West rivals Man United last Monday.

The Reds are not the only club interested in the starlet, with clubs from both Italy and Spain supposedly seeking a deal, however, it is not yet clear if his current club are willing to let him leave.

The forward is supposedly keen on  a move to Anfield in order to emulate his compatriot and Reds icon, Luis Suarez, who scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the club.
