Tottenham hand trial to 15-year-old shot stopper Nick Weegink

Tottenham have reportedly taken Netherlands goalkeeper Nick Weegink on trial, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League side, who currently trail top-flight leaders Chelsea by 10 points in third spot, have handed the youngster a week-long trial at White Hart Lane in a bid to win a contract.
The 15-year-old, who is attracting interest from several English football clubs, has been recommended by former West Brom and Ipswich Town midfielder Romeo Zondervan, who sent footage to a group of potential suitors.
Weegink, who currently plays for fourth-tier outfit ATC’65’s youth team, trains at the Keepers School Regio Twente under former FC Twente stopper Michel Veurink.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs return to Wembley Stadium on Thursday night (20:05), hosting KAA Gent in their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 second leg tie, where the Premier League club lost the first leg 1-0 in Belgium last week.
Tottenham lost two of their three UEFA Champions League group stage fixtures at the national stadium this term.
