Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI: Jose Mourinho faces a striker injury crisis going into Sunday’s Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers

Mourinho as always been a fan of Aaron Ramsey.

Tottenham face a tough game at home to Wolves in the Premier League this afternoon, as they attempt to move ever-closer to the top four.

Despite injuries hitting his squad, new boss Mourinho and overseen a dramatic turnaround in Spurs’ season, giving the North London side a real chance of Champions League football next year.

However, Wolves sit just a point behind Spurs and can overtake them with a win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon.

With injuries hitting his squad, we predict Mourinho’s starting XI.

So which players will be tasked with the challenge of overcoming Aston Villa tomorrow? Here we predict Guardiola’s XI…

Goalkeeper: Spurs’ number one Hugo Lloris has returned from dislocating his elbow and will take his place between the sticks this afternoon.

Defenders: It’s quite clear that Mourinho doesn’t know what his best back four is. In the past, the Portuguese manager has been reluctant to rotate his back four, but has done quite the opposite with Spurs. With the speedy Adama Traore to worry about, we think Mourinho will go with a back five of Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies.

Midfielders: Giovani Lo Celso is likely to retain his place in the Tottenham midfield. The Argentina international has seen a resurgence in form under Mourinho after struggling for game time under former manager Mauricio Pochettino. We think England duo Harry Winks and Dele Alli makeup a midfield three.

Forwards: Spurs have had terrible luck with injuries in this area of the pitch. with both Harry Kane and now Son Heung-min out for lengthy periods. With little options, we believe Mourinho will stick with the speedy pair of Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn as a front two.

Predicted XI: Hugo Lloris; Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies; Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks, Dele Alli; Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn
