Tottenham are reportedly set to submit a final offer of £16.1m for Netherlands international forward Vincent Janssen, according to Squawka.

The Premier League side, who finished third in the English top-flight standings last term after being pipped to the runners-up spot by North London rivals on the final day of the 2015/16 campaign, have been strongly linked with a summer move for the AZ Alkmaar striker.

The 22-year-old; who has five international caps for his country and scored for the Netherlands against England during an international friendly back in March, netted an impressive 32 times in just 49 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit last season, including seven assists.

Janssen, who is also said to be attracting interest from West Ham United, Paris Saint-Germain and Wolfsburg, is understood to have his heart set on a move to White Hart Lane ahead of the forthcoming 2016/17 Premier League campaign.

Spurs have already had a £15.1m offer rejected by AZ for their prized asset, but the report now suggests that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are ready to meet the Dutch club’s £16.1m price tag so the forward can take part in the club’s pre-season preparations.
