Tottenham Hotspur face League One side Wycombe Wanderers in a pre-season friendly on Saturday morning.
The Lilywhites defeated Reading in their first friendly of the summer last week, and will also face Luton Town later this month before a game against North London rivals Arsenal in Hong Long at the end of July and Newcastle United three days later.
The Lilywhites face Bayern Munich in Germany in their final friendly of the summer, before Thomas Frank takes charge of his first competitive match as Spurs boss when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup final in Udine.
Spurs have added Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso to their squad permanently after successful spells last term, while Mohammed Kudus has also arrived from London rivals West Ham United.
Now, it appears that one of Tottenham’s most impressive young players could be allowed to leave the club this summer.
According to Football Insider, the North London club have reluctantly agreed to allow teenage midfielder Mikey Moore to leave the club on loan for the upcoming campaign.
It is claimed that the 17-year-old is keen to spend the upcoming season on loan elsewhere in an effort to gain regular first team experience, with a view to then competing for a starting spot at Spurs upon his return.
Moore is a product of the Lilywhites’ youth system and has progressed through the youth ranks at the club into the first team.
He made his senior debut during the 2023/24 season and featured more regularly last term, taking his tally of senior appearances to 21.
The teenager is contracted to Spurs until the end of the 2026/27 season, but it appears that he could spend the upcoming campaign on loan elsewhere.
Championship sides Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion are both said to be interested in the youngster.
