For the second season running, it seems as though Harry Kane will finish the Premier League season as Tottenham’s highest goalscorer.
The England international netted 21 top-flight goals last term, and he is currently on 17 with nine matches to go after netting against arch-rivals Arsenal on Saturday as Spurs chase the title – they are currently second and five points behind the leaders, Leicester City.
Kane’s nearest competitor is Dele Alli, who has ten goals fewer, so not only will the 21-year-old be mightily confident of finishing the campaign as the club’s top scorer, he will also fancy his chances of beating his total of 21 from last season, especially with matches against the likes of Aston Villa, Bournemouth, West Brom and Newcastle to come over the remaining months.
