Name: Harry Kane
Position: Striker
Twenty-fifteen was the year Spurs’ youngster unravelled into Tottenham’s main man. Plus, one of England’s hottest prospects.
The 22-year-old; who previously enjoyed loan spells away from White Hart Lane at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City, scored a remarkable 27 Premier League goals in 2015.
Last season’s tally of 31 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino’s side saw Harry Kane named the highest scoring Englishman throughout the English top-flight during the 2014-15 campaign.
After a sluggish start this season; the striker’s brace against former club Norwich on Boxing Day saw Kane’s lethal goalscoring streak stretch to 12 goals in his last 12 games for Tottenham.
With boss Pochettino unlikely to pursue a big-name striker in the January transfer window, the Argentinean will be relying upon Kane’s shooting boots to fire Spurs into the UEFA Champions League next year by finishing in the top four come May.
