In an emotional friendly between England and France, Tottenham youngster Alli took centre stage as the Three Lions won for the first time against Les Bleus since 1997.
The 19-year-old produced a sensational performance during the 2-0 friendly win on Tuesday night, scoring an absolute screamer of a first international goal midway through the first half and producing a man-of-the-match display.
Alli’s performance was very mature and measured considering he was up against very talented opposition, with the likles of Juventus’ Paul Pogba and Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye on show in central midfield, to name a few.
