A clear winner in Tottenham’s Goal of the Season to date, Dele Alli’s incredible strike in the 3-1 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park could yet be the Premier League Goal of the Season as well.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic debut campaign in the top flight, becoming a regular for Spurs, who are real title contenders, as well as scoring on his England debut against France at Wembley.

But his strike in south London was something really special. When Christian Eriksen cushioned a header down to Alli just outside the penalty area, the midfielder took one touch, swivelled and lifted the ball over the Eagles’ Mile Jedinak, before volleying into the bottom corner – all without the ball touching the ground.
