Walsall have rejected a bid from Swindon Town for star striker Tom Bradshaw.
Speaking after the Saddlers’ 2-0 win at Southend United this afternoon, manager Dean Smith revealed the Robins had tabled an offer for their top goalscorer before simply stating he was “not for sale”.
The 23-year-old, who joined Walsall from Shrewsbury Town only last year, has already scored four goals in three appearances this season for the League One outfit, including a stunning hat-trick against Nottingham Forest in the League Cup.
After scoring 20 goals last season, it is understood Swindon’s approach for the former Wales Under-21 international is well below Walsall’s valuation.
Boss Smith added: “We don’t want to sell him. I believe there has been a bid but (Swindon manager) Mark Cooper has not spoken to me.”
