Watford Predicted XI: We predict Nigel Pearson’s starting XI as Watford travel across London to face West Ham United in a vital relegation clash.

Tonight’s fixture is without doubt the North London side’s most important match of the season, with Pearson knowing that his side will need all three points.

Despite, being three points above the dropzone, Watford’s last two fixtures are at home to Manchester City and an away trip to Arsenal, which make tonight’s game more important.

However, it is not all doom and gloom for the Hornets as a win tonight should secure survival, putting them six points ahead of their rivals with just two fixtures remaining.

So which Watford players will be tasked with the challenge of keeping their team in the Premier League. Here we predict Pearson’s XI…

Goalkeeper: The ever-present Ben Foster will be in goal tonight, hoping to keep a clean sheet and give his side the best chance of picking up all three points tonight.

Defenders: Watford have won their last two matches by a 2-1 margin and have named the same back four in both games. With no injuries or suspensions to contend with, we expect to name the same back four which have brought the club recent success. Kiko Feminia, Christian Kabasele, Craig Dawson and Adam Masina are likely to get the start tonight.

Midfielders: Watford have a very good midfield with many options and should not be where they are in the League with just three games to play. The injury sustained by Gerrard Deulofeu was a bitter blow, but the Hornets should still have enoough to cause the Hammers problems. We expect to see Etienne Capoue, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Will Hughes and Ismaila Sarr start the game.

Forwards: The comeback of Danny Welbeck has been huge for Watford and if they are to beat the drop the England international’s goals will be big reason for that. Welbeck will start alongside club captain and talisman Troy Deeney with the pair hopeful of causing the West Ham backline issues.

Predicted XI: Foster, Kiko Feminia, Christian Kabasele, Craig Dawson, Adam Masina, Etienne Capoue, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Will Hughes, Ismaila Sarr, Danny Welbeck, Troy Deeney
