In fact, with the Hornets scoring just 29 times this season, the Nigeria international has almost scored half of his side’s goals, and fully deserves his place on this list.

The Watford captain has also enjoyed a brilliant season in the Premier League with the Hornets, and although he has sometimes played a little deeper than he perhaps did last term, he has still produced an impressive number of goals and assists.
The 27-yaer-old has certainly led from the front, scoring eight league goals and providing another six assists, mainly for his strike partner, Ighalo.
Name: Nathan Ake
Position: Defender
The versatile defender has certainly impressed at Vicarage Road this term after joining on loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea, and the Blues might well be looking at the 21-year-old as an option for their first team next year.
Ake has been very consistent in his left-back position, and has even filled in at centre-back on some occasions, helping him become a fans’ favourite at the Vic.
