Tony Pulis may be the man almost any club that fears relegation wants at the helm but it seems West Bromwich Albion Supporters are aiming a little higher.
West Brom may be sat in eighth place in the Premier League but Saturday’s 1-0 home loss to Leicester City caps off a miserable run that’s see the Baggies lose four of the last five games – failing to score in any of them.
Fans appear to be getting frustrated at West Brom’s negative tactics and a lack of attacking play despite the club’s success this season.
With WBA just six points off reaching a Premier League club record of 50 points and four games left to play there’s still time for Pulis to make it a season to remember.
Here’s how fans reacted on social media to the latest result:
@WBA @LCFC Shame Fans turned up but Albion didnt! Fans pay money! So players shouldnt get paid if they r already on the beach!Pulis so negative!!!

Pulis does 40 points and finished. Can’t see us getting another point before the summer. This run is inexcusable. #WBA

#WBA who criticizes Pulis has a short memory. Maybe you forgot that no one apart from him has saved the team with 3 months to spell

@CrisoWBA @Barnaby1996 @lebouf1976 @WBA The only answer is Pulis out ….taken away all the pleasure out of watching the Albion…Watching is now pointless…all because of Pulis

Slate Pulis all you like. Who else, Allardyce maybe, who would get this squad to 8th in this league. Peace has a lot to answer for. #wba
