West Brom target Odion Ighalo is the subject of a £27m bid from China!

According to a report in The Mirror the Hornets are set to cash in on the striker who has only scored two Premier League goals in the last 12 months.

Two Chinese sides have expressed an interest in the 27-year-old who has been at Watford since July 2014.

West Brom looked at Ighalo as a replacement for Saido Berahino but won’t pay more than £20m for a support striker.

Despite West Brom’s lofty position in the Premier League Tony Pullis is concerned by the over reliance on Salomon Randon for goals and is keen to get in another striker during the January transfer window.

Watford haven’t been looking for a buyer for Ighalo but won’t turn down a £27m offer for someone who isn’t a regular first team starter with Walter Mazzarri already looking to bring in another striker with the Chinese windfall.
