West Bromwich Albion have reportedly submitted a £9 million offer for Leicester City left-back Jeffrey Schlupp, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis is desperate to sign a full-back this summer and has set his sights on Schlupp, who can also play on the left of midfield, as his top target because of his previous Premier League experience – he has made 49 appearances at this level for the Foxes.

Any deal would be another blow for the top-flight champions, with N’Golo Kante completing his move to Chelsea on Saturday, while another star man, Riyad Mahrez, is also being linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium in the coming weeks.

If Schlupp does make the move across the Midlands, he would become the club’s second arrival of the summer, following in the footsteps of Matty Phillips, who completed a £5 million transfer from Queens Park Rangers earlier this month.
