West Bromwich Albion are reportedly preparing a bid for Marseille midfielder Mario Lemina.
With former Arsenal man Abou Diaby set to snub the Midlands outfit for the Ligue 1 club this summer, the Baggies have identified his potential new teammate as the ideal alternative target.
Lemina, 21, scored two goals in 25 appearances in all competitions to help Marseille finish fourth in the French top flight last season.
The France Under-21 international is expected to leave the Stade Velodrome this summer upon the imminent arrival of fellow Frenchman Diaby, although fellow Premier League rivals Newcastle United and West Ham United are also monitoring Lemina’s situation.
