West Brom: Top 3 contenders for the Baggies’ Player of the Season award

Name: Jose Salomon Rondon
Position: Striker

It has been tough debut season in the Premier League for the Venezuela international, who has often been left isolated up front and left to run the channels, but the latter is something that he certainly hasn’t shied away from.

The striker is also the club’s top goalscorer with seven goals, and the attacker has certainly found form in recent weeks.

Name: Darren Fletcher
Position: Midfielder

When West Brom signed Fletcher from Manchester United just over a year ago, they knew they would be getting an experienced midfielder who has been there and done it.

The Scot has certainly been influential in the heart of the Baggies’ midfield this term, helping them to within one point of the magic 40 mark, as they look to secure a top half finish.

Name: Jonny Evans
Position: Defender

Another player that made the move to the Hawthorns from Old Trafford was Evans, and the Northern Ireland is another that has put in a number of impressive performances this term, becoming a real fans’ favourite with Baggies supporters.

Although he is naturally a centre-back, the 28-year-old has also filled in at left-back on occasions, showing his versatility and how he isn’t one to moan when he is played out of position.
