Claudio Yacob endured a frustrating start to the 2014/15 season, and didn’t regain his place in the West Brom starting XI until the start of 2015, when Tony Pulis took over.

The 28-year-old ended the campaign with 20 Premier League appearances, but he has been a far more consistent starter in 2015/16 after signing a new two-year deal with the Baggies in July, and is currently only one outing shy of his previous total.

The Argentine midfielder has also picked up one assist – one better than the zero he managed last term – and has become a key cog in the West Midlands’ outfit, providing a number of crucial tackles and interceptions throughout the season.
