West Brom have tabled a £7.5m bid for Senegal international Cheikh N’Doye, according to L’Equipe.
The Premier League side, who currently sit eight points above the bottom three in 12th place, have made a firm offer for the Angers defensive midfielder this month.
The 29-year-old, who has six international caps for his country, has scored six goals in 18 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit this season.
N’Doye, who is also attracting interest from Aston Villa and Sunderland during the January transfer window, has starred for the newly-promoted French top-flight side this term.
However Angers have rejected the Baggies’ opening bid for N’Doye, claiming they are seeking around £10m from any potential suitors this month.
