West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has been speaking to the press ahead of his side’s clash with Chelsea on Monday night, and has claimed that the title race is far from over.
His opponents for Monday Night Football are setting pretty, ten points clear at the top of the Premier League table with twelve games left to go.
Their nearest challengers are fellow London rivals, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham, whilst Arsenal and Manchester City make up the top four.
However, despite Antonio Conte’s side commanding such a lead at this stage in the season, Bilic feels that there is still time for the chasing pack to catch them.
“It [the title race] is still very open. If they slip up, which you can in every game, other teams need to be ready,” said the West Ham boss.
Slaven Bilic is one of just a handful of managers who can claim victory over Conte’s side this season, with the Hammers having won 2-1 at the London Stadium back in October in the League Cup.
