West Ham face competition from Besiktas for the signing of Mario Mandzukic.
According to a report on talkSPORT the Juventus striker is about to be offered a massive cash deal to move to Turkey.
Juventus are keen to offer Mandzukic a new contract but at 31 years of age the striker doesn’t want to be used as a squad player.
Mandzukic is well known to Bilic from his time in charge of the Croatian national side but West Ham won’t be drawn into an auction for a player in his thirties that with a transfer fee also involved.
According to reports from Turkey Besiktas are ready to make a £6m/year offer for the striker who has also starred for Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Bilic has a number of striking targets in mind as he attempts to change the focus of his side’s attacks to a more mobile passing game as he attempts to earn himself a new contract at the London Stadium.
