West Ham fans react to John Terry link

As soon as it was officially announced that John Terry would be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, the former England captain was linked with dozens of clubs across the planet.

Should John Terry decide to stay in the Premier League the he could end up at West Ham United as Slaven Bilic refused to rule out a move for the defender.

Bilic noted:

“Every manager and club would think about him because there aren’t many leaders like him.

“But, then again, we have experience in that position. We have good players in that position so never say never but I don’t think about that right now.”

Although the West Ham boss made it clear signing Terry is not a priority, his reluctance to quash any rumours has sent social media into overdrive as fans ponder just what it would be like to have the defender at London Stadium.

Terry’s wages could be a stumbling block as he would no doubt want to earn a large salary for what could very well be his final season in football, although the fact he’s available for free may encourage West Ham or any other club to make a deal happen, regardless of his wages.
