West Ham United have reportedly joined the race to sign French defender Romain Thomas this month.
The Premier League club, who defeated Liverpool 2-0 at the weekend, are hopeful of beating English top-flight rivals Crystal Palace and Stoke City to the acquisition of the Angers centre-half later this transfer window.
The 27-year-old, who stands tall at 6ft 4in, has scored twice in 18 league games for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
