West Ham have entered the race for Ross Barkley.
According to a report in the Daily Star the Hammers are prepared to offer the midfielder £130,000/week to join them at the London Stadium.
Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United have all been strongly linked with Barkley who has become involved in a stand off with Everton over a new deal.
With 12 months left on his current contract Everton want to get the 23-year-old onto a new deal or else prepare to sell the Academy graduate.
It seems that Everton are reluctant to go above £100,000/week for Barkley who can be fairly confident of earning more than that elsewhere.
While West Ham would be unable to offer him Champions League football it may well provide a tempting option with the threat of being frozen out of the Everton side hanging over him if there is no agreement on a new Goodison deal.
