West Ham United are reportedly considering a deadline day swoop for Croatia international Nikica Jelavic.
The Premier League outfit are understood to be interested in the Hull City striker’s services before the close of the transfer window on September 1 following injuries to fellow forwards Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll.
The 30-year-old, who only arrived at the KC Stadium from Everton last January, scored eight goals in 29 appearances in all competitions last season as the Tigers suffered relegation from the top flight.
Jelavic, who has 36 international caps to his name, could be tempted in a switch to the Boleyn Ground this summer having previously worked with new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic with the Croatia national team.
