West Ham United are reportedly considering a loan move for Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.
Although the 13-time Premier League champions are willing to let the Denmark international leave Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer, the Hammers are only looking for a short-term fix to cover for Adrian following his suspension against Leicester City last weekend.
The 31-year-old, who has five international caps, failed to make a single first-team appearance under manager Louis van Gaal last season and has only played 29 games for United since joining from Norwegian side Aalesund back in 2010.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is keen on re-signing ‘keeper Rob Green from Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers, but the Red Devils’ Lindegaard has lower wage demands.
However a potential deal for the Danish shot stopper isn’t all straight forward as Ligue 1 club Rennes are also said to be interested in Lindegaard’s services this summer.
