West Ham summer signing Simone Zaza, could be set for a shock move back to Serie A in January, according to reports from Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italy international, who is on loan in London from Serie A champions Juventus – a move set to become permanent – could soon be on his way out of the London Stadium, with Napoli supposedly chasing him.

The striker, who was the laughing stock of Europe over the summer due to his bizarre penalty routine lead to him missing from the spot, after being bought on specifically for a shootout.

However, upon his arrival he excited Hammers fans with the club posting glimpses of him scoring goals in training.

Despite his training ground antics, the 25-year-old is yet to bag a goal or an assist for Slaven Bilic’s side in six competitive outings.

With the Hammers having an expensive deal in place to land him permanently, there may be concerns within the hierarchy that he hasn’t had an impact yet, therefore a deal could work for all involved.
