West Ham United have reportedly tabled a second bid for England international Tom Huddlestone.

After the Premier League side had their opening offer rejected for the midfielder earlier this summer, it is understood that new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has approached Hull City with a second bid for the 28-year-old.

Huddlestone, who has four international caps, failed to score in 35 appearances in all competitions for the Tigers last season at Steve Bruce’s men suffered relegation from the Premier League.

The central midfielder, who has also been linked with moves to Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Bournemouth, would become a worthy acquisition at the Boleyn Ground as captain Kevin Nolan is expected to leave the club before the close of the transfer window.

Furthermore; local reports also suggest that West Ham have made an offer for Hull teammate and Croatia international Nikica Jelavic.

The 29-year-old, who scored eight goals in all competitions last term, interests boss Bilic following the news that forward Enner Valencia will be ruled out for up to 12 weeks following a knee and ankle ligament injury.
